About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with clients, agencies, and internal teams to understand business objectives and develop strategic advertising solutions using Hearst Magazines' portfolio
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and cross-functional partners on RFP responses, pre-sale planning, custom programs, and client presentations
- Build accurate media plans that achieve client KPIs, maximize revenue opportunities, maintain profitability, and follow company business rules
- Manage campaign execution from contract through launch across media plans, insertion orders, order management systems, and client requirements
- Lead campaign kick-off meetings and coordinate timelines and deliverables
- Monitor campaign performance, optimize delivery, manage revisions, and ensure campaigns launch and perform as sold
- Analyze campaign results and wrap reports to identify optimization, renewal, and upsell opportunities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on advertising products, processes, and systems and recommend process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in media planning, sales planning, account management, advertising strategy, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, campaign planning, and media execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across a diverse portfolio of accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Research, Campaign Management, and other internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with advertising platforms and business systems such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Role based in New York City with a hybrid work schedule
