About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive revenue and membership growth by identifying, developing and activating commercial, customer acquisition, membership and engagement opportunities
  • Lead the end-to-end development and management of new and existing brand partnerships
  • Establish partnership objectives and KPIs and ensure delivery against commercial, membership and strategic goals
  • Identify prospective partners and develop outreach opportunities
  • Represent Hearst brands through industry networks, events and relationships
  • Support business plans, go-to-market materials, product launches, membership propositions, commercial opportunities and strategic projects
  • Create, maintain and distribute brand plans, insight decks, media packs, pitch materials and commercial collateral
  • Build relationships with senior marketers, agencies, commercial, editorial, marketing and customer teams
  • Translate audience intelligence, consumer behaviour and market trends into acquisition, engagement, membership and retention opportunities
  • Contribute to budgeting and business planning
  • Manage project and partnership budgets, monitor performance and support cost-efficient decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in a commercial, partnerships, marketing, business development or similar role, ideally within media, publishing, lifestyle, entertainment or a consumer-facing business
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities, develop propositions and translate ideas into measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret audience, consumer and market insight
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, marketers, agencies and external partners
  • Experience developing and managing partnerships
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial approach with confidence to spot opportunities and take ownership
  • Passion for brands, audiences, media and evolving customer behaviours
