About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the sales team with day-to-day sales coordination and administrative responsibilities across assigned accounts
  • Manage key components of the pod sales process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and seamless execution
  • Coordinate print, digital, and social advertising initiatives across Hearst Magazines' portfolio of 30+ brands
  • Prepare sales materials, presentations, proposals, and other client-facing documents to support business development efforts
  • Partner with internal teams to facilitate campaign execution, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Track sales activity, maintain account information, and manage reporting with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Build strong working relationships with sales leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrate initiative, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn within Hearst Magazines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in sales support, advertising, media, marketing, customer service, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new skills
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with sales or CRM platforms is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while providing outstanding internal and external customer service
  • Based in New York City and expected to work in the office four days per week
