About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit branded content across articles, landing pages, newsletters, social copy, and other editorial deliverables
- Review grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, structure, tone, and readability while maintaining each brand's voice
- Align copy with editorial standards, client guidelines, project briefs, and brand requirements
- Fact-check names, titles, dates, claims, hyperlinks, captions, and supporting information
- Perform final quality assurance reviews on preview links before publication
- Verify headlines, subheads, metadata, calls to action, image captions, pull quotes, and other on-page elements
- Partner with writers, editors, designers, producers, and account teams to incorporate feedback and resolve issues
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional copy-editing or editorial experience
- Experience editing branded content, sponsored content, marketing copy, digital publishing, or journalism
- Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editorial style
- Strong understanding of voice, tone, audience, and brand standards across multiple content formats
- Outstanding attention to detail, particularly during final-stage editorial reviews and quality assurance
- Experience working within web-based content management systems (CMS) or digital publishing preview environments
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fully remote position
