About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in families' homes
  • Practice independently on the road while collaborating with and receiving support from the team
  • Conduct a few appointments per day at an unrushed pace
  • Listen to families, explain end-of-life options, and help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
  • Serve Olympia, Centralia, Lacey, Tumwater, Rochester, Washington, and surrounding areas
  • Select a self-managed 2–5 day-per-week schedule
  • Participate in onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
  • License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date
