About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in families' homes
- Practice independently on the road while serving Cherry Hill, Medford, Washington Township, Marlton, Collingswood, New Jersey, and the surrounding metropolitan area
- Conduct a few appointments per day without double-booking or rushing
- Sit with families, answer difficult questions, and support dignified end-of-life decisions
- Practice medicine independently with access to onboarding, mentorship, and experienced colleagues
- Work a self-managed schedule of 2 to 5 days per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date
