About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in clients' homes
- Practice independently while traveling between appointments
- Conduct a few appointments per day without double-booking or rushing
- Sit with families, answer difficult questions, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
- Build relationships with grieving families and support them during end-of-life care
- Complete thoughtful onboarding and participate in one-on-one mentorship
- Serve Milwaukee, Racine, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- License verification required before start date
- Background check required before start date
- Driving record review required before start date
