About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families
  • Practice independently on the road in clients' homes
  • Conduct a few appointments per day at an unhurried pace
  • Listen to families, answer difficult questions, and explain end-of-life care
  • Help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
  • Serve Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Parker, and surrounding areas
  • Collaborate with and receive support from experienced colleagues
  • Participate in onboarding, mentorship, training, and professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
  • License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date
