About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in families' homes
- Practice independently on the road
- Conduct a few appointments per day at an unrushed pace
- Listen to families, explain end-of-life care, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
- Serve Louisville, Middletown, Jeffersontown, Kentucky, and surrounding areas
- Choose a 2- to 5-day-per-week or self-managed schedule
- Collaborate with and receive support from mentors and experienced colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
- License verification, a background check, and a driving record review before start date
