About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in pets' homes
- Practice independently on the road
- Conduct a few appointments per day at an unrushed pace
- Listen to families, answer difficult questions, and explain end-of-life care
- Help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
- Serve pets and families in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Norwood, and surrounding areas
- Maintain professional autonomy while receiving onboarding, mentorship, training, and colleague support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
- License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date
