About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in pets' homes
- Practice independently on the road
- Conduct a few appointments per day at an unhurried pace
- Listen to families and explain end-of-life care options with kindness
- Help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
- Serve families in Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Parker, and surrounding areas
- Collaborate with and receive support from experienced colleagues
- Participate in onboarding, mentorship, training, and professional growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- License verification required before start date
- Background check required before start date
- Driving record review required before start date
