About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- Serve pet families across Metropolitan Pearland and Friendswood, Texas
- Conduct compassionate end-of-life conversations and care
- Travel between pet families' homes for appointments
- Manage your own schedule and calendar
- Participate in rotational weekend coverage
- Work independently in the field with support from scheduling, operations, and veterinary medical teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- DVM, VMD, BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited or otherwise qualifying program
- Active Pennsylvania veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Comfort working independently in the field
- Empathetic, clear communication during end-of-life conversations
- Availability for rotational weekend scheduling
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and assist with up to 100 lbs, with reasonable accommodation
- Successful background and motor vehicle record check after hire
