About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the entire product development process, from initial ideas and sketches through concept phases to preparation for series production
  • Develop ideas, compare variants, and prepare design directions
  • Create layouts, presentations, product graphics, branding elements, and supporting visuals
  • Research suitable fabrics and coatings and evaluate samples
  • Develop sustainable material options
  • Develop color palettes, combinations, and details in the area of Color & Trim
  • Create functional prototypes to test construction, handling, and details
  • Actively contribute to the further development of designs within a small team
  • Collaborate with the Product Designer at the intersection of design, materials, function, and brand

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design or a comparable field of study
  • Six-month mandatory internship required as part of your studies
  • Interest in materials, manufacturing, and details, such as fabrics, coatings, and trims
  • Initial experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Ideally, initial experience with 3D tools, such as Rhino
  • Basic understanding of form, proportions, and construction
  • Practical experience with, or willingness to work on, prototypes and functional models
  • Structured, reliable, and independent working style
  • Interest in outdoor activities
  • Portfolio or relevant links are welcome but not required
