About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently manage project-related procurement from the tendering phase through successful project completion
  • Analyze and monitor the market
  • Identify and acquire suitable suppliers and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Conduct price and contract negotiations and conclude the relevant agreements
  • Work closely with the Construction Management and Estimating departments
  • Carefully document and follow up on all procurement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed commercial training, e.g. as an Industrial Management Assistant, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement, ideally in the construction or construction-related industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Experience with ERP systems and estimating software
  • Good knowledge of construction and contract law, particularly VOB/B
  • Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a structured, independent approach to work
