About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and assist with the implementation of a new planning process using SAP IBP
  • Regularly create high-quality, long-term global supply plans covering 24–36 months for the assigned business unit
  • Ensure consistent and accurate analyses and evaluations of demand, production volumes, capacities, and inventory
  • Enable cross-organizational decision-making through comprehensive transparency
  • Establish cross-functional alignment among Sales, Production, Human Resources, and Executive Management
  • Diagnose performance issues in demand and supply chain planning at locations worldwide
  • Develop and implement solutions, including support for resulting expansion scenarios
  • Proactively ensure data quality
  • Identify improvement opportunities and optimize planning systems and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in supply planning
  • Experience with the S&OP process, ideally with SAP IBP
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong conceptual thinking
  • Ability to independently research additional information and present it concisely
  • Basic technical understanding of various production processes
  • Ability to organize ideas and different stakeholder perspectives
  • Excellent communication skills at all management levels
  • Fluent English
  • Flexibility, an independent working style, team orientation, and a high level of commitment, ambition, curiosity, and enthusiasm for shaping this new role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Power Pivot, macros, Power Query Editor), BI/AO, and QLIK
