  • Planning, implementing, and operating high-performance OT networks, including switching, VLAN, routing, and redundancy concepts
  • Managing industrial data centers, DMZ solutions, firewalls, and remote maintenance access
  • Ensuring secure IT/OT integration
  • Connecting production facilities to higher-level systems
  • Supporting the development of SCADA systems and IoT gateways in virtual environments
  • Continuous network monitoring and professional lifecycle management
  • Supporting audits
  • Implementing cybersecurity measures in accordance with IEC 62443

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, vocational training in electrical engineering and relevant professional experience
  • Experience planning, building, and administering OT networks
  • Knowledge of configuring firewalls, DMZ solutions, and remote-access environments
  • Solid knowledge of Ethernet, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing, VLANs, network services, and troubleshooting
  • Ideally, experience with Siemens Industrial Communication (SINEC, SCALANCE, SINEMA)
  • Knowledge of common OT protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, PROFINET, or MQTT
  • Analytical, structured, and independent approach to work
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Very good German
  • Good English
  • Strong interest in automation, OT networks, and industrial IT security
