About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the availability of precious metals for production and customers
- Coordinate and work closely with HPM production units, Customer Service, Trading, Logistics, and other sites
- Ensure a smooth flow of materials
- Continuously analyze and optimize precious-metal inventories
- Ensure cost-effective, demand-oriented inventory management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Completed bachelor's degree or successfully completed vocational training as an industrial clerk, technician, or equivalent qualification
- Career changers with relevant professional experience and strong commitment are also welcome
- Good knowledge of SAP MM and SAP LOG
- Basic understanding of precious-metal accounting (PMAC) is desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the assertiveness to achieve results while maintaining a respectful and appreciative approach
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong affinity for data and IT
- Good to very good Excel skills
- Basic understanding of databases and data-visualization tools is an advantage
- Enjoy challenging existing processes and continuously improving them with modern technologies, particularly GenAI
- Interest in the precious-metals business and motivation to gain a comprehensive understanding of its interrelationships and underlying factors
