About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general support in developing and qualifying new processes and equipment to enable increased throughput or new products
- Support development of test methods to characterize product performance outputs
- Assist with processes for coil winding, polymer reflow, laser welding, and advanced assembly processes
- Analyze data and write technical documentation to support engineering decisions
- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve yields, throughputs, or cycle times
- Participate in process development team meetings and activities
- Respond to changing priorities in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable Engineering program
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to work full-time onsite during the duration of the co-op
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
- Driven to learn more about real-world application of academic engineering concepts
