About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support design and development projects for new interventional medical device products
- Assist with project scope items and documentation required for the regulated medical device industry
- Support development of test methods to characterize design performance outputs
- Execute testing and quality deliverables to verify design outputs satisfy design inputs
- Generate engineering investigation reports from test data
- Participate in product development team meetings and activities
- Respond to changing priorities in a timely manner
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable Engineering program
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to work full-time onsite during the duration of the co-op
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
- Driven to learn real-world applications of academic engineering concepts
