About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the work activities and resources of assigned lines according to manufacturing specifications, cost, established requirements, EHS/QA policies, and budget
  • Organize employees, materials, equipment, and resources to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly plans and KPIs
  • Monitor and control production KPIs and ensure preventive actions to avoid line downtime
  • Communicate with the technical team to prevent manufacturing interruptions
  • Ensure employee training and certifications for operations, quality, EHS, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Documentation Practices
  • Supervise production lines and intervene in quality, EHS, ergonomic, scrap, or SPC risks
  • Close production orders and control variances and material, labor, and machine data accuracy
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement actions for manufacturing operational excellence
  • Research CAPA and NCR actions and propose quality, safety, and product improvements
  • Maintain an organizational environment promoting company values and culture
  • Support business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees
  • Align resources and internal services with customer service, warehouse, logistics, and planning teams
  • Identify and manage production-line conflicts and promote teamwork and communication
  • Coordinate and control the area budget and annual variances
  • Approve hours and overtime biweekly to ensure correct employee payment
  • Execute sustainable production practices promoting energy efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing communication skills
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing
  • Ability to promote opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Developed leadership competencies
  • Flexible and quick prioritizing manufacturing customer requirements
  • Ability to effectively improve processes
  • 0–3 years in similar positions (preferred qualification)
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 normative (preferred qualification)
  • Knowledge of CFR 21 (preferred qualification)
