About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Technical responsibility for developing, selecting, evaluating, and standardizing quality analytics methods, data models, KPI systems, and reusable analytical components.
  • Independently analyze complex measurement, laboratory, process, and quality data, and derive robust areas for action and decision-making foundations.
  • Develop, harmonize, and validate statistical metrics, quality indicators, and models for detecting trends, deviations, and anomalies.
  • Apply and evaluate SPC, trend, correlation, outlier, and process capability analyses.
  • Design and implement data models, automated data preparation and reporting processes, dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
  • Develop data analytics solutions using Python and SQL, and establish standards for data quality, KPI definitions, calculation logic, and documentation.
  • Evaluate and validate predictive analytics and AI applications, and transition suitable solutions into practical use.
  • Provide technical coordination for analytics projects from requirements analysis through implementation.
  • Advise and empower the relevant departments, and transfer established methods, standards, and solutions to additional processes and sites.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Professional experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, statistics, or a comparable technical or quality-related environment.
  • Very good knowledge of Python, along with solid expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling, as well as experience developing and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Solid experience analyzing quality and process data and applying SPC, process capability, trend, correlation, and outlier analyses.
  • Experience with dashboards, reports, KPI solutions, and self-service analytics, as well as with assessing and improving data quality.
  • Ability to develop professional standards and reusable methods, document analytical results in a transparent and traceable manner, and independently coordinate cross-functional analytics projects.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, a high degree of independence and communication skills, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Further training in quality methods, machine learning, or artificial intelligence is an advantage.
