About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the consultative link between the compliance program and its implementation
- Own the integration, implementation, and effectiveness of the compliance program across the operating companies
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational units on trade compliance matters
- Address and escalate complex issues
- Drive the operationalization and implementation of governance requirements with stakeholders
- Ensure the effective implementation of governance requirements and compliance processes for Global Trade Compliance
- Independently deliver relevant training and awareness initiatives across the Group
- Deliver project-specific training
- Prepare reports and meaningful analyses for management and relevant stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business law, law, customs, business administration, supply chain, quality management, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an internationally operating company
- In-depth knowledge of EU export control, customs, and foreign trade regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
- Ability to act as a trusted point of contact for the operating companies
- Ability to assess and escalate complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in a practical, audience-appropriate manner
- Confident, resilient, and solution-oriented approach in an international and dynamic environment
- Enthusiasm for taking responsibility, managing change, and implementing global compliance requirements in local organizations
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
