About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and own user-facing features across Hercules
- Develop the AI Agent enabling users to build full-stack applications
- Build the App Builder interface for building, previewing, and deploying apps
- Develop the SDK for integrations such as Hercules Commerce, Auth, CMS, and Files & Media
- Contribute to the PWA-based mobile app building experience
- Build the Platform experience with enterprise-grade security and reliability
- Ship quickly, iterate, and correct mistakes rapidly
- Deliver simple, self-serve, high-quality products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior or staff level product software engineering experience
- Strong software fundamentals: system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work effectively in monorepos
- Track record of independently shipping lots of features to customers
- Strong UX/UI design sense using cutting-edge frontend innovations
- Experience with SaaS features including billing, subscriptions, entitlements, product analytics, A/B testing, feature flags, i18n, and notifications for large user bases
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, and Redis
- Ability to use frontier AI coding tools to significantly accelerate workflow
- Willingness to work in US time zones if remote
- Willingness to travel to the San Francisco office regularly if remote
