About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct outside sales, new business development, and account management for assigned accounts and customers
  • Manage product and service delivery quality and consistency
  • Identify potential new accounts and solicit orders through personal sales calls
  • Foster relationships with target accounts and grow existing accounts through regular customer contact
  • Prepare, submit, and interpret periodic activity, sales volume, and expense reports
  • Attend sales meetings and training programs
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, Chambers of Commerce, and professional associations
  • Monitor environmental regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive conditions
  • Coordinate with customers to identify service timeframes and ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns and negotiate pricing and contract requirements
  • Complete annual sales revenue budget and identify key customer initiatives
  • Manage sales expenses and submit business expenses on time
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's service offerings
  • Support the team and organization with additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required; focus within sales, business, marketing or science preferred
  • 3+ years of proven industry-related sales experience required
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of proven industry-related sales experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
  • Some overnight stays required
  • Ability to maintain safe practices and adhere to health and safety policies
  • Ability to manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to less than 45 days
  • Post-offer drug screen and background check required
