About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide field work support on site-specific jobs
  • Report to the Field Office, travel to regional project sites during the day, and return to the office at day’s end
  • Prioritize health and safety and maintain safe work practices
  • Prepare supplies, tools, and equipment for transport to worksites
  • Clean and scrape underground chemical storage tanks and assist with their removal
  • Prepare waste for proper disposal
  • Perform demolition labor at contaminated buildings and land sites
  • Operate excavation and filter press equipment
  • Operate small hand tools and provide construction-related assistance
  • Decontaminate company equipment and tools
  • Load, unload, and sample drums
  • Respond to emergency spills as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites
  • Must be clean shaven at all times to don a respirator due to potential exposure to atmospheres, waste, and materials
  • Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to health and safety policies and processes
  • Ability to operate small hand tools, excavation equipment, and filter press equipment
