About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct clinical support to patients undergoing medication abortion
- Respond to patients’ medical questions and concerns
- Deliver timely triage, clinical assessment, and patient-specific nursing guidance
- Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based, trauma-informed care
- Support safe, patient-centered abortion care through telemedicine
- Work the designated part-time or full-time shift schedule
- Participate in one on-call shift outside scheduled hours for the part-time schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN (BSN required), preferably in telehealth
- 1+ year of experience providing abortion and reproductive healthcare
- Active state RN licensure in at least one of CA, CO, IL, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, VA, or a compact state license
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
- Exceptional communication skills for chat and virtual visits
- Ability to navigate clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, organizational policies, patient care, and documentation
- Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Experience providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care
- Commitment to reproductive justice and expanding access to abortion care
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment
- Eager to engage in continuous process improvement
- Spanish bilingual ability is a bonus
