About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB
  • Collaborate with developers across multiple languages and platforms to understand database needs and challenges
  • Analyze database systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for query performance tuning, problem resolution, and system design
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in database management systems
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years as a database developer, database administrator, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and languages
  • Ability to guide software engineers in optimizing database performance through query structuring
  • Experience with MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB
  • Knowledge of Python and .NET
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with different teams
  • Resumes must be submitted in English
