About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own trading-platform target architecture and roadmap, including server topology, sizing, capacity and hosting on premises and in AWS
  • Own high-availability, failover and disaster-recovery design for trading servers
  • Set platform administration standards, configuration baselines, trading-server access and change practices
  • Own upgrade, test and release architecture aligned with MetaQuotes release cycles so changes are validated, repeatable and reversible
  • Lead modernization, including containerizing suitable Windows workloads onto Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
  • Prototype and validate infrastructure patterns hands-on, and train the Platform Admin team
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, including several years designing or running MT4/MT5 server estates at a broker
  • Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage
  • Deep knowledge of MT4/MT5 server administration, configuration and upgrades against the MetaQuotes release cycle
  • Knowledge of hosting liquidity bridges such as PrimeXM
  • Windows Server administration at scale, including hardening and privileged-access control
  • Experience designing high availability, failover and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana
  • Containerizing Windows workloads on Kubernetes / Amazon EKS is a strong plus
  • Strong background in CI/CD and release automation using Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Scripting in PowerShell
  • MetaQuotes MetaTrader 5 Administrator certification desirable
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate a plus
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
