About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor team email queues, answer incoming calls, and respond to general benefits questions
  • Learn basic medical plan details to provide general guidance and route questions appropriately
  • Track open requests and follow up to ensure inquiries are addressed promptly
  • Escalate complex questions or issues to senior Benefits leadership
  • Assist with basic reporting, update communication guides, and maintain tracking logs
  • Provide general administrative support to the Benefits team
  • Work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week after the initial 90-day period
  • Work Monday through Friday in the office during the first 90-day probationary period

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Excel, including data entry, sorting, and simple formatting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and concepts quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and follow through
  • Prior benefits experience is not required; training provided
  • Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply
