About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform water mitigation and extraction using pumps, vacuums, and other restoration equipment
- Conduct fire and smoke damage cleanup, including deodorization and debris removal
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
- Complete demolition and removal of damaged materials as required
- Respond to emergency service calls, including on-call and after-hours work when needed
- Document job progress with photos, notes, and daily logs
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate professionally with managers and supervisors at job sites
- Perform additional floor care responsibilities
- Travel as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1 year of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field preferred
- IICRC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various environments
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use equipment responsibly
