About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Jira administration across the business, including workflows, project configurations, issue/ticket types, schemes, Jira Service Management portal, request types, approval workflows, tiering, SLAs, and escalation paths
  • Own Microsoft Entra identity and access management, including group-based access control, Conditional Access, device trust policies, SCIM provisioning, and automated HRIS-integrated onboarding/offboarding workflows
  • Serve as senior owner and escalation point for the macOS fleet, including Jamf MDM baselines, zero-touch deployment, fleet-wide security hardening, device lifecycle operations, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Administer and govern Microsoft 365/Entra, Slack, and Confluence, including roles, permissions, and configuration standards
  • Own the automation stack, including Zapier and other low/no-code tools, to eliminate manual IT and People Ops work and reduce provisioning time
  • Own SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, Exchange Online security policy, and secure email routing and deliverability
  • Support evolving responsibilities and additional tasks as new systems, workflows, and technologies are introduced

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems engineering, identity and endpoint architecture, or a comparable senior IT engineering role
  • Experience owning Jira administration, including workflows, project configurations, issue types, schemes, request types, and approval workflows in Jira Service Management or similar ITSM tooling
  • Proven ownership of Jamf for macOS MDM, zero-touch deployment, and fleet-wide security hardening
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access, device trust and compliance-driven access policies, SCIM, and SAML
  • Knowledge of email security and authentication standards: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, and BIMI
  • Proven ownership of Zapier or similar low/no-code automation tools, building and maintaining multi-step automations end to end
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a service-oriented mindset
  • Nice-to-have: Experience administering Zoom and supporting conference room or meeting room AV hardware
  • Nice-to-have: Basic scripting or API experience with Python or PowerShell
  • Nice-to-have: Experience supporting AI copilots or LLM-powered internal tools such as ChatGPT or Cursor
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to AWS, Twilio, or modern SaaS infrastructure used for internal systems
  • Nice-to-have: Background in SOC2/ISO-aligned environments, audit evidence, and access reviews
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with SaaS license optimization and cost management across a distributed environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
