About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze slot game mechanics and features to identify potential flaws
Write and execute thorough test plans and creative test cases
Analyze historical data, crash logs, and backtraces using basic debugging techniques
Perform mobile testing on iOS and Android and cross-browser testing
Conduct API and database testing to verify secure and accurate data flow, wallet transactions, and server integrations
Participate in Agile development cycles and stand-ups
Collaborate with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Identify, isolate, and clearly document complex bugs
Manage testing workflow to meet strict production deadlines while maintaining quality
Act as the final quality gatekeeper for land-based, online, mobile, and social game releases

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on QA testing experience in the software or gaming industry
Proven experience testing slot games, including RNG, paylines, and bonus features
Experience with API testing, such as Postman or REST Assured
Experience with database testing and SQL queries
Experience with command-line tools for debugging
Strong background testing native and web-based mobile applications
Working knowledge of iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux operating systems
Must hold a recognized Software Testing Certificate, such as ISTQB or equivalent
Familiarity with bug tracking software, specifically JIRA
QA automation experience with Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is advantageous
Best-in-class analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Goal-oriented, proactive, open-minded, and receptive to feedback
High professional integrity and discretion when handling proprietary and unreleased game information
