About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and develop the QA approach and processes across the ROLR prediction markets platform
Test new product features against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria
Create and execute test plans, test cases and testing scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
Test customer journeys including registration, verification, funding, market discovery, trades, positions, settlement and withdrawals
Test user, account and transaction scenarios, including error states and edge cases
Identify, document and track bugs through resolution
Reproduce and communicate issues to Product and Engineering
Re-test fixes and ensure resolved issues do not create problems elsewhere
Work with the Product Owner to identify gaps and ensure requirements are testable
Support integration and end-to-end customer journey testing
Own regression testing and QA readiness ahead of releases
Highlight outstanding issues and product risks before release
Build and maintain QA documentation and regression suites
Support investigation and testing of production issues
Help shape the QA function as the product and team grow

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in QA, software testing or a similar role, with experience taking ownership of QA activities
Experience testing web-based digital products
Strong understanding of functional, regression and end-to-end testing
Experience creating test plans and test cases and documenting defects clearly
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify scenarios others may overlook
Comfortable working closely with Product and Engineering teams
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of product quality
Preferred: experience in fintech, trading, payments, gaming or another transaction-based digital product
Preferred: experience testing products involving financial transactions or real-time data
