About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, architect, and maintain scalable multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS using Terraform
- Manage and operate production Kubernetes (GKE) clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and workload scalability
- Implement observability, telemetry, and monitoring across infrastructure and microservices
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response
- Perform root cause analysis and drive long-term reliability improvements
- Provision, configure, and maintain GCP and AWS cloud services supporting production workloads
- Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines and platform tooling
- Enforce cloud infrastructure security standards, networking governance, access controls, and operational best practices
- Optimize cloud footprints across GCP, AWS, and other platforms in collaboration with engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years in GCP or other public cloud platforms
- Production experience with Kubernetes (GKE)
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines (Groovy), GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent systems
- Comfortable scripting for automation; Bash and Python preferred
- Familiarity with Node.js or GoLang is a plus
- Experience tracking and reporting key metrics for workloads and networking
- Proficient in Terraform and other IaC tools
- Experience with Cloudflare, networking, or edge security
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work closely with developers, QA, and platform teams
