About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, execute, disseminate and interpret clinical and population health analyses, metrics and reports
  • Use clinical, member, financial and administrative data to identify, develop and monitor opportunities to improve health outcomes, clinical quality and costs of care
  • Efficiently manage analytical projects through successful completion
  • Build collaborative relationships with clinical, administrative, operational, financial and technical stakeholders
  • Ensure analytics are actionable and aligned with organizational priorities, needs, plans and resources
  • Provide strategic business partnership, thought leadership and subject matter expertise
  • Mentor Senior and Lead level analysts and colleagues across the enterprise
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen due to contractual/access requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Economics, Health Sciences, Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy or related field, or 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years leading the design, execution and dissemination of clinical and population health reporting, analyses and studies of progressive scope and complexity
  • 2 years using coding languages, analytical software, systems, tools and processes with claims, clinical, enrollment and provider data
  • 1 year of project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment
  • 1 year providing analytical consultation to clinical, administrative, operational and financial stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of coding languages, relational databases, quantitative and qualitative analytic methodologies, advanced analytics and statistics
  • Healthcare industry expertise and knowledge of health insurance, healthcare delivery, provider relationships and regulatory issues
  • In-depth understanding of clinical and business processes
  • Experience with R, SQL, or BigQuery/GCP strongly preferred
  • Experience with R-Shiny, Tableau, or Power BI strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead through influence and informally lead matrixed teams
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions
  • No required licenses or certifications
