About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, execute, disseminate and interpret clinical and population health analyses, metrics and reports
Use clinical, member, financial and administrative data to identify, develop and monitor opportunities to improve health and healthcare outcomes, clinical quality and costs of care
Manage projects efficiently and effectively through successful completion
Build collaborative relationships with internal and external clinical, administrative, operational, financial and technical stakeholders
Ensure analytics are actionable and aligned with organizational priorities, needs, plans and resources
Serve as a strategic business partner and provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise
Support Senior and Lead analysts with consultative, technical, subject matter and business expertise mentorship
Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen due to contractual/access requirements
2 years leading the design, execution and dissemination of clinical and population health reporting, analyses and studies of progressive scope and complexity
2 years using coding languages, analytical software, systems, tools and processes with claims, clinical, enrollment and provider data
1 year of project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment
1 year providing analytical consultation to clinical, administrative, operational and financial stakeholders
Strong healthcare/insurance analytics background preferred
R, SQL, and BigQuery/GCP experience strongly preferred
Tableau experience strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of coding languages, relational databases, quantitative and qualitative analytic methodologies, advanced analytics and statistics
Healthcare industry expertise and knowledge of health insurance, healthcare delivery, provider relationships and regulatory issues
Experience with clinical and business processes
Demonstrated ability to informally lead matrixed teams
Bachelor's degree in public health, Nursing, Economics, Health Sciences, Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy or related field OR 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Master's degree in a related field preferred
