About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct and provide nutrition care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring
  • Perform individualized patient assessments and reassessments
  • Develop, document, and monitor nutritional plans of care according to individualized assessments and professional standards
  • Provide education and educational programs for patients and staff
  • Complete documentation and reports according to procedures and established practice guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and monitor tools to maintain and improve nutrition care for patients, staff, and the community
  • Perform other assigned or required duties
  • Comply with HIPAA, privacy, information security, code of business conduct, applicable laws, regulations, policies, and training requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
  • Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) OR Registered Dietician (RD) OR eligible and must obtain either RDN or RD within six (6) months of hire
  • Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) OR eligible and must obtain within nine (9) months of hire
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Experience within specialty practice preferred
  • Master's Degree preferred
