Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex initiatives from definition through transition
Convert approved business objectives into actionable delivery structures
Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and close complex initiatives
Establish and maintain project charters, integrated plans, schedules, milestone maps, resource needs, and delivery assumptions
Clarify scope, outcomes, success measures, roles, responsibilities, governance, escalation paths, and working agreements
Coordinate cross-functional execution across business, technology, operations, clinical, regulatory, finance, data, vendors, and other delivery partners
Facilitate working sessions and project meetings, tracking decisions, owners, due dates, and follow-through
Track scope, schedule, cost, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments
Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, changes, and RAID logs
Assess and control changes affecting outcomes, resources, timing, cost, risk, and readiness
Monitor project financial health and vendor impacts
Produce status reports and provide decision-useful delivery evidence to sponsors, governance bodies, and the Program Manager
Prepare recommendations and requested actions for sponsors and governance bodies
Lead stakeholder communications, alignment, conflict resolution, readiness, adoption, training, stabilization, and transition-to-operations activities
Set team expectations, reinforce accountability, capture lessons learned, and improve PMO standards
Use approved collaboration and portfolio tools to maintain project information
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

US citizenship required due to Department of Defense contract requirements
Must pass a background check
High School Diploma/GED required
1–3 years of experience in a project manager role and/or project leadership role
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project charters, integrated plans, schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, and stakeholder communications
Experience coordinating delivery across business and technical teams in a matrixed environment
Experience managing scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, changes, and resource constraints
Demonstrated ability to communicate with sponsors and leaders, facilitate decisions, and present clear recommendations
Preferred: five or more years of progressively responsible experience leading projects, initiatives, or complex cross-functional work
Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, regulated operations, technology-enabled delivery, or another complex environment
Preferred: experience with structured project lifecycle, governance, audit, or compliance requirements
Preferred: experience with business and technology initiatives and predictive, agile, or hybrid delivery approaches
Preferred: experience coordinating vendors or external delivery partners
Preferred: experience using portfolio-management and collaboration platforms
PMP certification or comparable project management training/certification is preferred
Change-management or agile certification is valued
Must comply with HIPAA, privacy, information security, legal, regulatory, company policy, and training requirements
