  • Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals and families in an outpatient setting

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and health services
  • Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality initiatives
  • Supervise, delegate to, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice as appropriate
  • Develop individualized patient care plans according to patient needs, physician and nurse orders, and hospital policy
  • Establish culturally and age-appropriate expected outcomes with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Analyze health status and determine patient care needs
  • Assess changes in condition, notify physicians or supervisors, intervene appropriately, and document care
  • Accept assignments outside the primary unit within individualized competency
  • Pursue formal and independent learning and participate in peer review
  • Evaluate patient and family satisfaction and advocate for patients and customers
  • Assess and attempt to resolve patient and family concerns
  • Complete assigned duties within the established work shift

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • CPR certification
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred
  • Ability to comply with HIPAA, privacy, information security, code of business conduct, legal, and company policy requirements
