About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day operating objectives of the underwriting function
Assist with underwriting analysis and reporting activities
Participate in business-area projects and programs
Participate in planning and implementation of projects and initiatives
Conduct research and prepare reports, recommendations, or alternative proposals for action
Evaluate healthcare products, member populations, pricing strategies, financial performance, and risk management practices
Support data-driven analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and development of recommendations
Perform entry-level professional services under supervision
Undertake related studies or enrichment programs
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently
Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and other internal or external constituencies
Compliance with the company's code of business conduct, company policies, HIPAA, privacy policies, information security guidelines, applicable laws, rules, regulations, and training requirements
