About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent the organizational unit on administrative matters
  • Recommend, interpret, and/or implement company and internal administrative policies and procedures
  • Perform a combination of administrative tasks in finance, human resources, purchasing, and research and development
  • Prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required
  • Produce training demand signals for the respective AOR
  • Process new and incumbent training requests
  • Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to run reports and track training status
  • Process certifications and reinstatements
  • Perform audits of training transcripts
  • Support requests for data analytics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Equivalent alternatives to a Bachelor's Degree: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School graduate; Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program plus 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience; High School/GED plus specified combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Access preferred
  • General knowledge of the use of an LMS preferred
  • Ability to work first shift
