About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process for AOR
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, build strategy, and key event schedule
- Manage expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met and work is performed on schedule within contract specifications
- Identify and expedite resolution of design, material, grouping, scheduling, manpower, and other problems affecting critical-path work
- Liaise with trades’ management to control cost performance, including overtime requirements and cost drivers
- Evaluate growth work and contract-funded point changes for authorized funding and schedule integration
- Identify impacts and potential risks and devise contingency plans
- Perform structural, tank/void, yard final, concealing-material release, compartment/system turnover, and test inspections
- Document discrepancies and issue them to responsible parties for correction
- Assess safety risks within AOR and develop mitigation plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years Construction Supervisor 1 experience OR 2 years CS1 experience and 2 years planning/production control experience
- High School + 6 years production supervisor experience
- BS/Apprentice + 4 years exempt related experience in Planning, Production Control, Engineering, Construction/Project, or Merchant Marine
- 3 years Military E-6 and above
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Travel 10%-25% of the time
- Clearance is not required to start
