Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design components or portions of systems
  • Modify existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent alternatives to an Associate's Degree: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience; High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military work may qualify through stated equivalency pathways
  • Experience with CAD, CAM, NX, or CATIA
