About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems
  • Assemble, analyze, and document results
  • Construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components
  • Perform quality testing
  • Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems
  • Work at the boundary of electrical and mechanical systems, including switches, relays, generators, load centers, switchboards, motors, and air gap separation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; or Master’s Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Willingness to travel 10%-25% of the time
  • Mechanically inclined electrical engineering background
  • No security clearance required to start
