About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate all nuclear power-generating equipment, including nuclear reactors, refueling equipment, reactor plant support operations, fuel handling, radioactive waste disposal, electrical breaker connections, main turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment
- Prepare and review engineering plans, analyses, and investigations
- Monitor reactor plant testing
- Investigate and resolve testing problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Shift Test Engineer (STE) or Inactivation Test Engineer (ITE) Certification
- 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Final clearance required to start
- Ability to work multiple shifts
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
