About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
  • Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
  • Provide the test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed
  • Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
  • Test all customer samples and perform special tests that cannot be performed in the test area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma and 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree or above and 0 years of experience
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
  • Prior shipbuilding, Navy, maritime, industrial, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
  • Familiarity with test procedures, technical documentation, and engineering reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
