About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes
  • Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics
  • Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
  • Conduct preliminary analyses of data in areas such as trajectory adequacy and model dimensional consistency
  • Make quantitative judgments concerning technical data
  • Use personal computers to perform analyses and develop documentation and reports
  • Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant professional/exempt experience; or Master of Science Degree in Engineering and 0 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ex-Navy Nuclear Qualified (nice to have)
  • CVN78 Class Steam and Electric Plant Test Experience (nice to have)
