Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 months of pipefitting experience
  • Completed high school or equivalent pipefitting technical program with NCCER certification (nice to have)
  • 1.5 or more years of marine, shipbuilding and construction experience (nice to have)
  • Experience in layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves (nice to have)
  • Ability to read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements (nice to have)
  • Experience in setting and erecting units with proficiency in the use of Datum Lines (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with fit-up, alignment tolerances and advanced blueprint reading skills (nice to have)
  • Ability to work at different heights, in confined spaces, and in different weather conditions
  • Ability to work multiple shifts, including day or night shifts
