About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, design and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures and other facilities
Gather and review facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion dates and construction feasibility data
Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare layout and detail drawings
Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and related costs
Inspect or direct inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications and schedules

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or above from an ABET accredited university

U.S. citizenship is not required for this position
Full-time, first shift
Must work in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States; not eligible for telework
