About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan utilization of company space and facilities according to organizational efficiency, available facilities, and funding
  • Plan, direct, and manage equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification, and building projects from design concepts through implementation
  • Define project requirements and negotiate contracts and contract changes
  • Establish operating budgets and identify financial terms and conditions of contracts
  • Act as primary contact for facilities, equipment and machinery maintenance, and project activities
  • Lead project reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Identify problems and develop solutions, including resource allocation or project-scope changes
  • Coordinate the work of employees assigned to the project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; or Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Equivalent pathways include NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program plus 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience; High School/GED plus 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience; or High School/GED plus 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Relevant experience in facilities planning, equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification, building projects, budgeting, contracts, or project management
